Somewhere in the US (NBp) - Protesters gathered somewhere in the US today to exercise their First Amendment rights to demonstrate their discontent. With the presidential election right around the corner, people everywhere are working to ensure that the candidates hear their views.

This demonstration, which started in 1938 and continues today, has sparked an anti-demonstration protest from others in the area that are sick of the noise and crowds.
A man carrying a sign that read "Down With Protests, Including This One" was leading the antiprotest charge. "The other day, there was a small anti-green shirt rally and I happened to be wearing a green shirt," the man said when asked what sparked his protest. "I thought I should protest all of these protests going on in our town. Unfortunately, I need to protest my own protest in order to do this."

After a few minutes, the man was joined by 4 other people who started protesting his anti-demonstration protest. "I was down the street protesting the cruelty of lawn mowers when I saw this guy," described one of the protesters. "He looked a bit lonely, and his protest really needed some more oomph. Besides, there's nothing good on TV right now."

"I was planning on going to the 'bubblegum rots your teeth' march, but someone showed up over here with some food," explained another. "I was really looking forward to tomorrow's 'plea for a more comfortable bike seat', but it starts at 8AM, and that's just way too early."

"I think that it is high time that Congress does something about something," declared local Jay Galliant, professional protester, speaking at a nearby rally. "It seems like any time something needs to be done, I'm out here calling to Congress to see that it gets done. Congress should get up and do these things before I have to come around and say something about it. But now is not the time to talk about doing something. Now is the time to do it!"
