Ann Arbor (NBp) - News Byproducts is pleased to announce that our
extensive marketing has finally resulted in our human viewership increasing
beyond the level of our chimpanzee viewership.
"I've always thought of our target audience as being people, and
now we know that they are," announced Kev, editor-in-cheese of NBp.
"We're not sure what had drawn the chimps to us, because we hadn't
been publishing chimp-specific articles. But, we were just happy to have
the audience."

Look at this graph!
Ever since a band of marauding chimpanzees invaded an Internet cafe
in Zimbabwe, NBp had seen a steady increase in chimps who are regular
viewers of the site. Rather than assuming an anti-chimp stance, like
many news sites and presidential candidates, NBp chose to be chimp-neutral.
Even so, NBp is pleased to have seen its human readership increase.
"I think the chimps were just coming here for the pictures," opined
Kev. "I mean, they can't read English, right?"
NBp has stopped short of carrying ads that cater to chimpanzees. "We
had to draw the line when Chimp World magazine wanted to place an ad.
After all, we run a family friendly site here..."
Though NBp's popularity with chimps is waning, statistics are showing
that the previously negligible kangaroo readership is growing dramatically
as Australia becomes increasingly wired.
