Quebec (NBp) - Fans of music superstar Celine Dion were shocked this
week as rumor came forth that a song scheduled for debut on Dion's next
album does not feature Dion belting forth the chorus. The song,
Heart Full of Love, sounds like a typical Dion ballad, except
Dion sings the chorus quietly but full of emotion, instead of her typical
loud belting that is full of emotion.
The departure from Dion's normal style has some fans confused, thinking
that something may have gone wrong. "Maybe she was tired that day,"
guesses Dion fan Liza Frangioli.
In the song, Dion begins with a quiet "Before you, my life was
empty and alone". This is not unlike the quiet start to all of her songs.
But, the overall low-key tone continues all the way through the final
"my veins are full of blood, but my heart is full of love" at the end of the
song.
Music industry insiders say that Heart Full of Love could be just
the change Dion would need if her career needed a change. "Let's pretend
for a moment that Celine's latest album hadn't sold millions of copies
in just a few weeks. If that were the case, then she'd really have
to think of ways to revitalize her career."
People close to Dion insist that every other song Dion has been
working on for her next album comes complete with powerful belting.
