Washington (NBp) - A new study has shown that white males are
increasingly feeling the pressure of affirmative action and
women's lib movements. In a separate study, Catholics have
expressed that they are starting to have a difficult time fitting
into an increasingly diverse American culture.
"This is really rather remarkable," said John P. Singletary,
chairman of White Guys Anonymous. "For the first time in
American history, every man, woman and child in the country is
joined together in a shared feeling of oppression, regardless of
race, religion or gender."
Oppression in America runs farther than that, insists Melanie
Q. Hoffmeyer of the Wealthy Persons Support Network. "Affluent
people today have a difficult time rejecting calls from people
soliciting for donations, keeping a good butler and driver on
staff, or even finding a country club where the people are not
as rich as yourself."
At this time, no group of heterosexuals has announced its
oppression, but a number of groups have expressed plans to feel
oppressed in the future.
