By Kev Tulsa (NBp) - The offices of News Byproducts were reeling today amid accusations that photographs on the site were not posted in their original form and had, in fact, been electronically doctored. (Full disclosure: NBp is published by NBp.) NBp Editor Kev was quick to issue a statement. "I categorically deny any such action that can be perceived as potentially deniable. In fact, its very deniability is what lends credibility to the positions of NBp." The accusations come in response to numerous articles ranging from a story about MegaImplants to a story about the Backstreet Boys merging with 98 Degress and N'Sync. Even political figures, such as former Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu are not immune to the alleged doctoring. "Clearly, our photographs are in electronic form, since our publication is an electronic one," explained Kev. "However, no one on the staff is a doctor, so I don't know where this 'doctoring' bit comes from. Such rumors and innuendo only serve to lessen our credibility as a source of quality journalism." |
