Portland (NBp) - In the first ever "National Take Your Llama To Work Day", US citizens that both own a llama and have a job were able to share the joy of llama raising with their coworkers.

Suzie Caruthers (upper left) and Sandy Binkins (lower right) enjoy a day at the office with their llamas.

Sandy Binkins works with Caruthers. "As soon as I met Suzie's llama, I had to have one for myself," explained Binkins. "Llamas are great with kids, and they are excellent for carrying home the groceries."

"Once you've had life with a llama, you'll never go back," exclaimed Caruthers.

An estimated 756,000 Americans brought their llamas to the workplaces on Monday.
