Tokyo (NBp) - Japanese consumer electronics giant
Sony has just announced the BurgerMan, the world's first
electronic burger.
"BurgerMan features the most advances in burger technology
since the invention of the burger itself," announced Sony chairman
Yamikoto. "For the first time, people can browse through photos
of their loved ones as they enjoy their burgers."

Liquid Crystal Displays in the burger patties
tell cooks when the patty has been cooked to the
customer's satisfaction. |
Sony touts the BurgerMan's SuperSense patties as a
safety feature. Given the recent fears over e.Coli bacteria,
no burger should be eaten until the SuperSense patty
display shows "5".
In addition to the picture display and SuperSense features,
the BurgerMan's SmartMedia Cheese can be used to play back near CD-quality
music. The current model of BurgerMan includes two pieces of SmartMedia Cheese,
for up to 8 minutes of music. The music can be conveniently heard in Sony's
new "EarSpuds" headphones/french fries.
