Moscow (NBp) - For decades, Moscow has had the hustle and bustle
of a major industrialized city. But now, the factories have shut down.
Even McDonald's is closing its doors.
Viktor Chermenov, Russia's Minister of Agriculture,
announced that he would be taking over as the new Czar
of Russia, and that farming was the new industry for
the 21st Century.
"What have we gained from all of this technology," asked
Chermenov at a press conference. "Some smelly cars that are not even
fun to drive, computers that can't handle going from December 31 to
January 1, and jobs where we sit around and fill out forms all day.
I say, 'Farm living is the life for me! Just keep Manhattan and
give me that countryside!'"
To aid in the transition back to a farming economy, Russia is in
negotiations with neighboring countries to trade nuclear weaponry for
oxen and plows.
