Paris (NBp) - France unveiled the newly renovated Eiffel Tower
today after a two year modernization and restoration project.
Designers were going for an edgier look, while keeping the classic
style.
"Zee tow-wear, she is beautiful, no?" inquired Jacques
LeBeuffoon, chief designer on the project. "We wanted a tow-wear
that the yoong peepool today cood relate to."

Critics say that the Parisians were just jealous of the Leaning
Tower of Pisa, which has gained worldwide fame because of its tilt.
A number of structural engineers have already condemned the Eiffel
project, proclaiming that the new tower will likely fall over
within a year.
LeBeuffoon has responded to the criticism. "What do zees enchineers
know about art anyway? Zee Eiffel Tower iss a work off art, not some
office building."
The Eiffel Tower has been redubbed The UltraLeaning Eiffel Tower,
LeBeuffoon Style in honor of its updated look. The modernization
project, which cost $7.2 million, is widely expected to be followed
by a $15.7 million project to put the tower back the way it was.
